Test overview

The specification splits the verification into two groups (§9). They use different samples and are run in different ways.

Group 1 – QD Property Tests (9.1)

Each test uses its own set of samples and the tests can run at the same time.

The orange tests are also the cross-verification tests (§10): they are repeated with at least three other suppliers' parts, our plug with their socket and their plug with our socket, n = 3.

Group 2 – Thermal / Mechanical Cycling (9.2)

One set of samples goes through all steps, in this order. Do not swap the order and do not replace samples along the way.
